Meet Janice Rafferty
I am Janice Rafferty, born in 1968 in Scotland. My journey in the financial sector began after I completed my studies in Business and Finance at the University of Edinburgh in 1990.
I hold CeMAP and CertCII (ER) qualifications.
I started my career in banking, where I developed a deep understanding of personal finance and lending.
Over the years, I expanded my expertise into mortgage advising, helping clients navigate the complexities of property finance.
By 2010, I had developed a strong focus on equity release, guiding homeowners through the options available to them.
I am passionate about providing clear and reliable information on later-life finance. While I share my insights and experience through my work, it’s important to note that I do not offer personal financial advice. My aim is to help individuals understand their choices and make informed decisions.
I do not offer personal financial advice, and the information provided should not be considered as such.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Scotland’s beautiful landscapes, often taking weekend trips to the Highlands. I also have a keen interest in photography and love capturing the stunning scenery around me.
In my free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction and spending time with my family, especially my two grandchildren, who always keep me on my toes!
